Arianna Körting Organizes a Concert for Disaster Relief

Pianist Arianna Körting, 15, recently presented a benefit concert that raised over $2,000 for Doctors Without Borders, an international humanitarian organization that supports disaster relief efforts. “Love Notes for the World,” held at the Solon Center for the Arts in Solon, Ohio, featured works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff, performed by Arianna and other students from the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Preparatory Division. After winning the Buono International Piano Competition, Arianna gave her Carnegie Hall recital debut in 2007, and last year she won the Duquesne Young Artists National Piano Competition.   1. I went to Arianna’s event, and it was fantastic. She did a great job of organizing the evening. It was lovely, and I was glad that I was able to be a part of it.
