Our congratulations and best wishes go to 20-year-old soprano and From the Top alumna Nadine Sierra, who was the only female winner in yesterday’s Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Finals in New York. Nadine first appeared on From the Top when she was 15 and wowed our audience with her beautiful performance of “O, Mio Babbino Caro” from Gianni Schicchi.

Nadine Sierra on From the Top at 15 years old.
Currently a student at The Mannes College of Music, Nadine has also trained with the International Vocal Arts Institute, The Music Academy of the West, and was a member of the Palm Beach Opera’s Young Artist Program from 2002 through 2006. She made her recital debut in 2007 in New York in Marilyn Horne’s “On Wings of Song” recital series. This season, Nadine’s younger sister Melanie performed on From the Top.
Bravo to Nadine! See a video with Nadine.
